Creating a playlists from other eSnippers 'favorite' files

If you haven’t noticed the ‘play music’ button right next to favorite files in people’s profiles, you should. It’s a great way to listen to a collection of music a particular taste. I started getting into into profiles of users I 'favoritted' in the past and play their music collections. We’ll soon allow saving of playlists, in the interim you can create a playlist widget and put it on your site, blog or make it an eSnips post.

Here’s one I created from the favorite files of an eSnipper that I discovered added to my favorites a long while a go: FredEric White, from Montreal , Canada, Artist and singer. Most of the (if not all) is songs by great Karaokers on eSnips.

eSnips exclusive mix by DJ Hollywood

How cool! Found this mix by accident. In this mix Dj Hollywood (Robert) mentions eSnips and fellow DJ esnippers.  Here’s what he writes:

Movers 2.0

Eran Arkin, a software developer from the eSnips team created a service he called Movers 2.0. This service provides a daily updated view of the daily, weekly and monthly movers and shakers of web 2.0.

Within 24 hours, it was covered by Techcrunch, made it to the del.icio.us hotlist , and del.icio.us  most popular links of the Web 2.0 tag.   Congrats Eran!

eSnips is live in its new home - Kudos to our team

Transition completed.  The entire service is now in its new home. We're still testing. If you come across anything weird let us know. 

We've been working on this transition project for several months now. Hope it's not too early, but kudos to our team:  Noam, Shlomi and Shahar who just spent two entire weeks in NY working almost day and night in building the new facility and transitioning the data and equipment.  They've spent several months planning it, and went through every possible effort to reduce what may have been several days of down time to only a few hours.

Lots of things can go wrong in these kind of projects, and they usually do. The team planned between 3 and 5 hours of down time and devliered!
